PAXO

Co-produced with Anita Land, PAXO was a solo-performance show starring Jeremy Paxman. In a ‘pacy, slickly produced one-hour production’ (Daily Telegraph), PAXO saw the formidable ex-Newsnight presenter fielding a diverse range of questions from an omnivorous audience as well as holding forth on a wide sweep of topics from Tony Blair to pognophobia - the irrational fear of beards. Directed by Sarah Esdaile and designed by Bobby Warans, PAXO previewed at the Pleasance Theatre, London in July 2014, before transferring to the Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh as “the festival’s hottest ticket” (Guardian).
